Pati-Nation No. 1- Lottery Conducting Company of Ho Chi Minh City. North Wall.
Pati-nation is a photography project documenting the walls outside of government buildings in Vietnam. The walls resembled abstract paintings, with layers of decaying paint chipping off. They are very poetic and simple images that said a lot metaphorically about the current political state of things in Vietnam without being overtly political; a common tactic that is quickly learned to work around potential censorship issues.
